The Chief Administrative Officer is appointed by Council and is responsible for providing administrative leadership for the Town.

As the key point of contact between Council, community and staff, the CAO is responsible for overseeing municipal operations. They are also responsible for ensuring that Council directives are coordinated between departments and ensuring that corporate priorities are achieved.

They attend all Council meetings and are responsible for the execution of the decisions of Council and oversee the management of all departments.
