Garbage
Garbage collection is contracted to GFL who uses an automated waste pickup system. Each resident is provided with a wheeled container which residents roll to the point of pickup (the curb). In accordance with the Town of Lamont bylaws, all waste must be placed within the roll carts.
Residential garbage pickup is on Fridays and commercial bins are picked up on Fridays. Please have your bins out by 7:00 a.m.
The act of burning refuse or garbage within the corporate limits is prohibited by Provincial Legislation. A garbage disposal system is in place that effectively eliminates the need to burn refuse in your yard.

St. Michael Landfill
Should you require to dispose of additional refuse the St. Michael Landfill is available Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Closed all statutory holidays.
